个人简介

Dr. Zhao received his MD in Institute of Hematology and Blood Diseases Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College, where his research was focused on blood diseases. Afterward, he devoted his time to the investigation and clinical translation of stem cells. prevention of breast cancers. Since 2009, he joined Tianjin University of Commerce and began to be involved in naturally occurring compounds, mainly in dietary stilbenes and polymethoxylated flavones (PMFs) in citrus peel. Since then, his research was focused on the prevention of gastrointestinal damage and inflammation using these compounds, their parent raw materials. His research is documented in more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters.
